The archaeological storage room has plenty of space in which to accommodate the many finds from the region’s prehistoric, early historic, medieval and modern periods.
Archaeologists (literally: “students of ancient things”) painstakingly attempt to recreate the faces of the people who lived thousands of years ago and to find out about their everyday lives. They examine how humans have evolved in our region by looking at a wide variety of finds from different periods.
